Amelia-Jae started her career as a nurse but after a few years decided to further her career to become a nurse practitioner. “After about six years of being a nurse, I wanted to provide more advanced care to my patients,” she explains. “So I decided to continue my education and obtain a Master’s degree to become an advanced practitioner.”
“I loved working as an RN in the emergency room but I also enjoyed my time in primary care as a nurse practitioner getting to know my patients and making decisions together about their health,” she explains. “I chose ReadyMED because it combines providing care to the community with a combination of everything I love in one setting. Plus, I get to see patients of all ages which I really enjoy.”
Amelia-Jae enjoys using the latest technology when caring for patients. “Technology has advanced my ability to help patients in a faster and more reliable way,” she explains. “The ability to confirm any previous diagnosis and treatments and being able to communicate with other providers using the same EMR is very helpful.”
In her free time Amelia-Jae likes to travel, spend time with family and friends, and try new foods and restaurants.

A graduate of Harvard Medical School, Dr. Michelle Dorrell has many years of experience treating pediatric patients both in primary care and urgent care settings. Growing up in a remote rural area in Asia was what got here interested in medicine. “Medical care was not easily accessible for my family,” she explains. “After watching my brother struggle with asthma when he was younger, I decided I wanted a career in medicine so I could help people like him.”
Board-certified in pediatrics, Dr. Dorrell says that she treats each child as if it were her own. “I love working with kids, they’re so much fun,” she explains. “It’s very rewarding to watch them heal, as well as grow and develop. Children also recover amazingly well when they are sick. I just find it very rewarding taking care of children.”
At ReadyMED PLUS, Dr. Dorrell treats typical childhood illnesses as well as minor injuries. “Here, we often can treat children whose condition might be more acute than most primary care offices can manage. This is because at ReadyMED PLUS we can provide X-rays, CT scans, lab work, and other services that help us diagnose patients faster and more accurately,” she explains. “By providing this type of care, we can often help patients avoid an expensive trip to the emergency room.”
When she is not busy at ReadyMed PLUS, Dr. Dorrell enjoys spending time with her husband and three children. They enjoy activities such as movie nights and family swims. Dr. Dorrell also loves to play the piano, take long walks, and exercise.

Dinara started her career in medicine as a registered nurse before becoming an advanced practitioner. “During my time as a nurse, I frequently cared for individuals suffering from complications stemming from preventable diseases,” she explains. “Seeing this firsthand motivated me to pursue an advanced degree. I realized that by acquiring further education, I could play a pivotal role in educating the public about making healthier choices to delay onset and progression of chronic illnesses.”
In her work at ReadyMED, Dinara strives to approach each patient with respect, kindness and empathy. “Knowing that individuals seek medical assistance during times of vulnerability, I strive to create a supportive and compassionate environment where patients feel values and listened to,” she explains. “Ultimately, I view my role not only as a healthcare provider but also a source of comfort and reassurance during challenging times.”
In her spare time Dinara enjoys being with her husband and children and their two dogs. She also enjoys traveling, gardening, listening to audiobooks, watching Eurovision, and all things Disney.

Dr. Michelle Whitham was inspired to pursue a career in pediatrics by her grandmother, who was a pediatrician. After graduating from college and working in market research consulting, she decided to follow her passion for science and caring for children and become a physician.
Dr. Whitham believes that being a mother herself helps her be a better pediatrician. “Being the mother of three children really has a benefit,” she explains. “I’ve taken care of sick and crying kids of my own, and I think that helps me talk a child through being scared or sick, and also build a rapport quickly with their parents.”
In her role as a pediatrician, Dr. Whitham knows that parents only want what’s best for their children. “I try to treat every child like they were a member of my own family. In fact, I will often say, ‘here are the options … and here’s what I would do in this situation.’ ”
Dr. Whitham enjoys the challenge of working in Pediatric walk-in care. “It’s always interesting coming to work each day and there’s never a dull moment. Everyone here in the department is very dedicated and enthusiastic, and I think that helps make a difference for the patients.”
In her spare time Dr. Whitham enjoys cooking for her family, especially trying out different regional recipes. She also enjoys watching her children’s sporting events and spending time with her husband and two dogs.
